Kennards Hire has added a fleet of trailer mounted Fibre Optic capstan winches and 65kN Mine Compliant winches to its extensive range of cable pulling equipment and are now available for hire from its 7 specialist branches.
These custom designed units in collaboration with Cable Winches Australia are available in 5kN and 10kN & 65kN as well as Optic Fibre 2kN, which have been built to Telstra specified certification for laying optic fibre cabling for the National Broadband Network. They have been specifically designed to align with OH&S requirements.
The Optic Fibre 2kN units from Kennards Hire that are now available for hire are equipped with an inline restrictor lock function. This is to prevent the optic fibre cabling from being pulled at a force greater than 2kN (200kg).
The NBN is the Federal Government’s largest ever infrastructure project. Once complete, it will provide high-speed internet connection via optic fibre, fixed wireless and next-generation satellite to 93 per cent of Australian homes, schools and businesses.
Kennards Lift & Shift has an extensive range of cable winches, hauling jacks and accessories at their hire centres in Perth, Adelaide, Melbourne (two outlets), Sydney, Brisbane and Townsville.
